The string program for the 2008 -2009 season has experienced tremendous growth and is now truly symphonic.  Highlights for the year include full performances of the famous Peter and the Wolf by Prokofiev with narrator.  Working from a copy of the original score (in Russian), this special transcription promises to feature some of our most talented performers and will be part of an on-going musical outreach program to the local community.  The orchestra will also perform at the annual Holiday Concert scheduled for December 18th in the newly renovated Performing Arts Center at Villa Park High School.

With invitations to perform at special events throughout the community, a busy concert schedule and increasing demands for their special brand of music, the Villa Park Orchestra is an exciting and rewarding ensemble.
